A short drive from your hotel will bring you to Kirtipur, where you can visit the Kirtipur Durbar Square and drive ahead to Macchagaun. From the Macchagaun, we start hiking towards Chandragiri Hill. We walk along a lush trail full of forests and incredible mountain views to Chandragiri Hill. At Chandragiri, we visit the temple and its premises. From the top, we will be blessed with some fantastic views of the mountains. 

 

The hill offers an uninterrupted view of mountains from Mt. Api to Everest and from Makalu to Kanchenjunga. Also, the Kathmandu valley is visible from above. After spending some joyful moments in Chandragiri, we drive back to Kathmandu. We will drop you at your hotel in Kathmandu after the short day hike. Chisapani Nagarkot Hiking

Chisapani is one of the most popular trekking near Kathmandu. Chisapani Nagarkot hiking is popular for its spectacular views of an ocean of snow-capped mountains, rich landscapes including beautifully rugged villages, terraced fields, and lush green forests. In a mere 30 km away from the hectic city life, you can reach this calm area in about an hour’s drive away that falls in Shivapuri National park which is surrounded by the shady and serene atmosphere.

This hike will start with an hour's drive to Sundarijal. We will walk for about 4 hours to get to the first stop in Chisapani. We will take a 7 hours walk from Chisapani to Nagarkot the next day. After breakfast drive to Sundarijal. Start hiking towards Chisapani

Phulchowki Hike.

Looking for a day trek from Kathmandu than Phulchowki is one of the nearest ones. It’s a 6 to 7 hour trek complete in a day. It is a 1 hour drive followed by 4 to 5 hours of Hike. It is situated 14 kilometers south-east of Kathmandu, is widely known for its flora and bird watching activities. 

 

The hill has 570 species of flowering plants and 1/3rd of Nepal's bird species. This trek takes you to the top of the highest ridge of the Kathmandu Valley at 2,760 m altitude, where you can enjoy a breathtaking panorama of high Himalayan peaks, west of Annapurna, Manaslu, and Ganesh Himal. Pulchowki Hike is a favorite hiking destination for locals, with a short distance away from Kathmandu you can enjoy nature at its full.

Champadevi Hike.

Another Nature Day Hiking from Kathmandu is the Champadevi hike. It is a day hike from Kathmandu which will take 4 to 5 hrs. You’ll follow the path for another 1.2km west, passing through traditional Nepali small villages. The next segment in the hike is most difficult, a 2.2km stretch that climbs 600m to the top. Here you can follow the route for 700m through dense forest before you hit a fork.

 On the way enjoy the view of the small village and temple on the hillside. You can relax at the top and enjoy the view. There are rather obstructed views of the point where the Champadevi Temple is situated. So, if you want to enjoy unhindered mountain and valley views, walk an extra 1.5km.Though the trip is short you will enjoy every step in the beautiful green hills and Mountain View.
